Welcome to Celestial Aesthetics! My name is Ciara Seward and I have been a licensed Esthetician practicing for three years in the Omaha area. I have a passion for helping individuals feel relaxed and rejuvenated, while simultaneously reaching their skincare goals! I focus heavily on relaxation in my facials as I find they can be incredibly therapeutic for both myself and my client. Whether we are doing a two hour facial, or a fifteen minute brow wax we will more than likely have gotten to a depth of conversation that is much more than just your average small talk. From a young age I knew I would more than likely find myself in a career that involved helping people, I am the daughter of two therapists and the apple did not fall far from the tree! I lost my Mother to Breast Cancer at the age of seven, which has shaped me into the woman I am today. Experiencing a significant loss at such a young age almost forces you to become empathetic toward others, and that has truly shown within my esthetics practice. I have been so fortunate to meet so many incredible individuals, and somehow we always end up sharing our grief or hardships and finding a common ground. I believe physical touch connects you to those around you, and is a true exchange of energy between two people. I do not take lightly the gift and responsibility of how my energy can effect each and every client, and appreciate the vulnerability in allowing me to do so. My journey to Esthetics came almost out of nowhere, I was a twenty-year old college dropout who washed her face with the Pink Grapefruit Neutrogena Oil-Free acne wash. Spoiler alert, I didn’t have acne! I began my position as a receptionist after moving home from Lincoln, and started my dive into the Spa Industry. I quickly learned I had a knack for customer service, and absolutely loved interacting with people every day. After working as a receptionist for a short period of time I realized I wanted more and I put myself on the waitlist for the Capitol Esthetics program. I attended Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics from April of 2019-August of 2019 and took the license exam the week I graduated from school. I quickly realized I had found my passion, a mix of customer service and hands on work which seemed to be meant for me! Some people are good at math, and I just happen to be good at understanding skin. I was offered a position for Esthetics immediately out of school and have been practicing ever since. I am so incredibly excited to begin this journey as a solo Esthetician and I cannot wait to connect with you.
